  Fabrics used are good quality quilters cottons.

This quilt fabric and backing have been washed to remove any excess dyes,
and ensure color fastness .  This quilt has a very soft feel.
 
A beige and white tone on tone fabric was used as a backing.

This quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted with a wavy crosshatching mimicing the
currants of a stream and quilted ripples by the 'pebble' edge, which is a border of blue
squares set on point.
