Drunkards Path Quilt Top

This is a variation on the Drunkards Path. It is the drunkards path blocks alternating
with plain blocks. This is a very traditional pattern originating from days long gone.
The alternating blank blocks enable the quilter to show off their quilting stitches by
filling these areas with intricate quilt designs such as feathered wreaths or other motifs.
The drunkard path blocks are of a deep rose, almost red toned fabric. Tone on tone, off white fabric
was used for the background and alternating blocks. All fabric is premium quilters cotton.
