Pieced fruit jar blocks with appliqued magnifying glasses to show the contents of the jars.
Fabric was carefully chosen to resemble the candy that is 'magnified'. The blocks are machine
pieced and the magnifying glasses and fruit are appliqued onto the jars using a blanket stitch.
Star blocks are pieced and sewn with the white and black sashings.
This quilt is layered with a batting and machine quilted with a
meandering loopy design.
