and ensure color fastness .
A beige and white tone on tone fabric was used as a backing.
This quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted with a feathers and stars

There is a turned block in this quilt, hence the name shooting star.
This block's placement is usually up to the quilter.
I chose to place it in the center and outer edge. It gives the option
of being displayed or covered when hung as you can see in this photo.
