Tree of Temptation Quilt Top

This is a very traditional pattern of long ago. Its called tree of temptation and the border is
hand appliqued with leaves, branches, and round red apples. The tree blocks are
machine pieced and set alternately on point.
The alternating blank blocks enable the quilter to show off their quilting stitches by
filling these areas with intricate quilt designs such as feathered wreaths or other motifs.
Quilters premium cotton fabrics were used.
